Ask for four milestones
Get the provider's written instructions for foot traffic, moving contents back, vehicle traffic, and cleaning. Ask who confirms the floor is ready and what happens if conditions change. Keep those instructions with the product names and warranty.
Product data sheets set the discussion
A resin type does not establish one universal schedule. Review the installed system's technical instructions with the provider. As one example, Sikafloor-515's product page provides application conditions and product-specific timing. Its requirements should not be transferred to an unspecified coating.
Describe conditions at the entrance
Tell the provider about sunlight, tracked-in rain, and whether the door can remain open during work. Ask how conditions are assessed for application and cure. Confirm the finish boundary at the threshold before the schedule is set.
Plan storage and vehicle access
Arrange alternate parking and a place for contents. Mention access through the garage, heavy cabinets, rolling tools, or an EV charger. Do not put a loaded object back just because walking is permitted.
Request an estimate review with the date you need access and the uses that must resume. Ask the provider to confirm the plan instead of treating an advertisement as a cure instruction.
